The 19th Annual Melbourne Gospel Jubilee ~ Jan 12, 2008
History
In 1989, Randy Bailey and a few friends and church members decided to promote a gospel music concert that would benefit the entire community. They named it The Melbourne Gospel Jubilee. They began with a young, up and coming quartet called The Kingdom Heirs, as featured guests... The popularity was so overwhelming, that they returned for the next fifteen years. Randy’s family group, The Fellowship Quartet served as hosts. Since 2002, the Hearts of Harmony has been honored to serve as hosts.

Many of America’s finest in Southern Gospel have graced its stage. Over the years, such names as Dixie Melody Boys, The Hoppers, Karen Pack & New River, Lumber River, Poet’s Voices, Palmetto State are just a few who have blessed the many thousands who have attended. Since 2003, a new era began with one of America’s newest and most exciting quartets today, The Triumphant Quartet (formerly Integrity) have returned each year to a receptive audience. MGJ is ecited to announce to you, their return for 2006!
Triumphant Quartet
The great Smokey Mountains is where you find one of the great quartets in America today. Each weekday you can see them and hear them perform at the famous,
Louise Mandrell theater in Pigeon Forge, TN. Then on limited weekends they travel throughout the US to share their exciting presentation ofgreat quartet singing, as in the days of The Statesmen and Blackwood Brothers. Individually, they are no strangers to gospel music , nor to Melbourne, as formerly members of The Kingdom Heirs, who were a vital part of MGJ for many years. David Sutton, Clayton Inman, Eric Bennett and Jeff Stice are well known and have received countless numbers of awards for their talent. This does not disclude young Todd Inman, (Clayton’s son) who is rapidly becoming one of America’s favorite young artists. Truly recognized as one of the most awesome performers in gospel music, it is their warm personalities, their willingness to make each one available to the fans and their easily identified love for the God they sing about is what makes them the best “back by popular demand” with every promoter.
